Advance HCD2400 Marine Gearbox
The speed input range of the Advance HCD2400 marine gearbox is 600–1600 RPM, with engine input power from 1080 kW to 2880 kW. The reduction ratio range is 3.00–5.53, the transmission capacity is 1.80 kW/RPM, and the gearbox is designed to withstand rated propeller thrust of 250 kN.
Advance HCD2400 marine gearbox consists of transmission shaft, output flange, input flange, oil pressure gauge, oil filter, control system, lube oil pump and other key components.
Advance HCD2400 marine gearbox offers two types of control systems for customer selection: electric control and pneumatic control. To satisfy diverse matching requirements for various engine brands and models, Advance HCD2400 marine gearbox supports multiple engine flywheel sizes.
All Advance HC/HCD series marine gearboxes can be supplied with CCS classification certificates. Selected series are available with international classification society certifications at additional cost, mainly including French BV, British LR, American ABS, Japanese NK, Norwegian DNV-GL, Russian RS, Korean KR, Italian RINA and other classification societies.

Compact structure, optimized overall dimension and reasonable weight design, facilitating onboard installation. The design fully takes convenience of operation and maintenance into consideration.
The gearbox adopts modular combined design. All rotating components are elaborately designed and machined in strict accordance with high standards to reduce fuel consumption and ensure stable operation, which can match most mainstream marine engine models.
1-stage reduction design with parallel input & output shafts and opposite rotation direction. It is equipped with reverse clutch reduction function and built-in thrust bearing to withstand propeller axial thrust.

- The “transfer capacity” refers to the ratio of the engine’s rated power to the rated speed, and the reduction ratio corresponds to the transmission capacity, which should be less than the number be offered.
- The gearbox and engine shafting are not allowed to use rigid connection, and the bracket is recommended to be installed on the same rigid support.If the engine is mounted on the elastic support, and the gearbox is installed on the rigid support, please contact the technical department of the company to select the suitable high elastic coupling.
